Fazane will work personally with you on your project, manage the process from start to finish with the help of our team of experts and be your main point of contact at all times, as well as looking at your project from a design perspective.
With her extensive experience in producing garments and unique insight into running a fashion label, having her manage your project will be a decision you won’t regret.
…P.S we’re sorry Fazane was unable to be serious for her profile image….13 years in the fashion industry will do that to you.
Erica Horne - Product Development Manager
Erica and Fazane first met in 2013 when Fazane ran a pop-up shop in Derby for local designers to promote their work. Erica was one of those designers and they have been firm friends ever since! They even managed to have their babies within weeks of each other (totally unplanned…we promise!)
Erica is an experienced product developer, designer, pattern cutter and CAD lecturer, highly skilled in the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the fashion industry; creating industry standard, professional work in various areas of design, such as; Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Print Design, Illustration and Branding.
She has previously worked for a high street childrenswear supplier as a designer for the likes of Next and Monsoon so is our resident childrenswear expert.
As well as working with us Erica runs her own highly successful CAD for Fashion Studio & Academy offering specialist Illustrator and Photoshop courses for the Fashion Industry.
She tried to teach Fazane illustrator once….it didn’t go so well (old dogs..new tricks and all that) so we offered her a part-time role here instead.
Harriet Kjellman - Technical Manager
Many years ago when Fazane ran her label she took part in Nottingham Fashion Week. Backstage she spied the most exquisite collection and then met Harriet the super talented designer of said collection.
So followed years of being instagram buddies (stalking each other really….) until Fazane decided Harriet was just too talented not to have on our team.
Harriet is a creative professional with many years experience in the industry as an entrepreneur, designer, educator, and product developer specialising in pattern cutting and manufacturing. She is in charge of all things technical in our studio and has been fully trained on our Vetigraph CAD Digital Pattern Cutting system.
Harriet works part-time for us alongside still running her minimalistic womenswear label Harriet Kjellman.
Chloe Ryans - Senior Product Developer
Chloe first interned for Fazane when she had her womenswear label and ended up staying on and off for 2 years (we just couldn’t get rid of her!)
Always impressed with her hard-working nature, creative flair and epically loud sneezes Fazane promised her a job one day.
On graduation Chloe worked for a number of high street suppliers including F&F Clothing, Knitmania and Sports Direct as a designer, and has excellent skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Fashion Design, Trend Research, Technical Specifications and much much more.
The day finally came in July 2018 when Fazane was able to keep her promise and Chloe became a very much valued full-time member of our team.
P.S…..she still sneezes a lot.
Radhia Reynolds - Production Sourcing
One sunny day in 2017 Radhia was searching through Instagram and spied the most amazing #shoeselfie….which turned out to be Fazane’s! After much stalking of her social media and websites Radhia decided she really wanted to be part of our team.
A few weeks later, they had a glass of vino (or two!) at St. Pancras in London and Radhia has been a valuable member of our team ever since.
Radhia has over 10 years’ experience working in the fashion industry. She started out as a womenswear buyer with a leading fashion brand in Paris and has since moved to London to run her own shoe brand ‘House of Spring’ alongside working for us part-time.
Radhia specialises in production sourcing for us, quality control and product development. She has experience working hand in hand with designers to develop product ranges from sketch to sale and advising on the critical path to follow each step of the way.
Radhia is experienced at sourcing new routes and she has good relationships with suppliers in a number of countries including Portugal, China, India and Turkey.
Frances Gallagher - Garment Technologist
A lot of our stories start with a bit of social media stalking and Fran and Fazane’s meeting was no exception.
Very early on in Fazane’s career, Fran spotted her on LinkedIn and made contact. It was early days so again Fazane promised her some work when she could.
3 years later, a set of twins for Fran and one boy (thank goodness!) for Fazane, she kept to her word and welcomed Fran onto the team.
Fran has over 20 years of experience in the industry, across Menswear, Womenswear, Swimwear, Lingerie, Outdoors & Kidswear categories, developing branded, retail clothing and accessories for the likes of Bench, Henri Lloyd, Go Outdoors, Ben Sherman, M&S Suppliers and many more.
Fran’s creative sourcing and development skills combined with her extensive pattern & fit knowledge, factory liaison and product manufacture make her a great freelance asset to our team.
Sinead Inchley - Pattern Cutting
Fazane spied Sinead on LinkedIn and impressed with her skills arranged a meeting in Leicester.
After a rather traumatic start for Fazane….losing the diamond out her engagement ring on the way there, the meeting was successful and Sinead was welcomed into the fold.
Sinead is a professional and reliable resource for a range of technical and creative fashion requirements, for us on a freelance basis.
She has had over seven years industry experience, working across women’s, children’s and men’s clothing, and can offer a variety of services and products, from initial design concepts all the way to sealed production patterns through us.
Sinead is fully trained on the Vetigraph CAD system, which is by far the best way to achieve quick and accurate results, and the system we have installed in our office handily!
Elizabeth Munro - Pattern Cutting
Fazane and Elizabeth met in the Make it British facebook group…which we are proud to be members of.
After a very cold meeting in January 2016 at Nottingham Train station then a trip to Hopkinsons Vintage Store, Elizabeth joined our team on a freelance basis.
She has over 15 years experience of pattern cutting and grading and has worked for a number of high profile brands and retailers, including M&S, Next, Tesco, Asda, Dunnes Stores, Sainsbury’s, and many other private clients.
Her speciality is women’s jersey and has extensive experience in performance sportswear.
As well as working with us on our sportswear projects she is currently working with a specialist cycle wear supplier creating triathlon suits and cycle wear for the Olympics.
She uses Gerber Accumark software which enables her to deliver accurate patterns and grading quickly, efficiently, and are easily converted into our Vetigraph system.
