MEET CLARE - THE CHAOS CONTROLLER
Clare is our Senior Product Developer & Production Manager, otherwise known as The Chaos Controller, and the woman tasked with keeping the many moving parts of Team Fox firmly under control.
No small undertaking!
With over 13 years’ experience across garment manufacturing, product development, sourcing, production management and commercial operations, Clare brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a serious talent for getting things done.
Her career has seen her work with brands and businesses including McLaren, Honda, Warner Music, Universal, Soho House and Selfridges, across everything from technical sportswear and workwear to sustainable clothing, merchandise and bespoke products.
At Fazane Fox, Clare is the driving force behind our day-to-day product development and production operations, working closely with our design and technical teams, clients, factories and suppliers to keep projects moving from development and sampling through to manufacturing, quality control and delivery.
For our founder-led clients developing purposeful, technical and fabric-based products, Clare brings structure, commercial thinking and clear communication to what can often be a complicated journey.From managing critical paths and supplier relationships to navigating unexpected production challenges, she makes sure the right people are doing the right things at the right time.
She loves a challenge, knows her way around a critical path and isn't afraid to chase a factory when something needs sorting.
Clare also has a rather fabulous Team Fox origin story.
She first met Fazane many years ago while working as a Sales Manager at a UK factory. The two bonded over Fazane's completely inappropriate choice of a white suit and heels during a visit in gale-force wind and rain. Because naturally, practical footwear has never been Fazane's strong point.
They stayed in touch over the years, with Clare asking on numerous occasions if there might be a job going at Team Fox.
Several years later, Fazane finally took the hint. And here she is!
We're absolutely delighted to have Clare on board, bringing another experienced pair of hands and a very welcome dose of operational organisation to the agency.
And Fazane is particularly delighted that someone else now gets to chase the factories, spreadsheets and occasional production-related catastrophe.
Because even The Boss needs a Chaos Controller.
